Short version: CamNest does not collect, store or share any personal data. It has no accounts and no servers, and it never uploads your photos anywhere. Your photos and videos stay on your phone.
Who is responsible
CamNest is made by Steffan Mathiesen Astrup, Denmark, published on Google Play as JD Projects. Contact: support@camnest.app.
The CamNest app
- No data collected. The app does not collect any personal data or usage data.
- No data shared. Nothing is shared with third parties.
- No ads, no tracking. CamNest contains no advertising and no tracking.
- No accounts, no servers. There is nothing to sign up for, and CamNest has no servers to send anything to.
- Your photos stay on your device. Photos and videos you take with CamNest, and photos you import into folders, are stored on your phone and remain visible in your usual gallery app. CamNest never uploads them.
- Permissions. The Android permissions CamNest asks for, such as camera access, are used only on your device so the app can take, save, show and organise your photos and videos.
- Sharing is your choice. If you use Share, the photo or video goes to the app you pick. What happens next is covered by that app's own privacy policy.
This matches CamNest's Data safety section on Google Play: “No data collected” and “No data shared with third parties”.
Purchases
The Pro and Unlimited upgrades are one-time in-app purchases handled by Google Play. Payment is processed by Google under Google's privacy policy. CamNest does not receive your payment details.
If you email us
If you write to support@camnest.app, your email address and message are used only to answer you. They are not shared or used for marketing.
This website
camnest.app uses no cookies, no analytics and no trackers, and loads nothing from third parties. Like any website, the hosting provider may process standard technical data (such as IP addresses) to deliver the pages and protect against abuse. We do not use this to identify or track you.
Children
CamNest does not collect data from anyone, including children.
Your rights
Because CamNest holds no personal data about you, there is nothing to access, correct or delete on our side. Your photos are on your device and you can delete them at any time. If you have questions, contact support@camnest.app. If you are in the EU/EEA, you can also contact your data protection authority (in Denmark: Datatilsynet).
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new date.
