Saved to Bakken 12 – Bathroom
Jobsite photos, filed per job
Make one CamNest folder per job, for example “Bakken 12 – Bathroom”, and pin it to your home screen. On site, tap it and shoot. The before, progress and finished photos are saved straight into that job’s folder instead of your camera roll.

Why one folder per job
A phone's camera roll puts the bathroom on Bakken 12, the kitchen across town, a supplier's delivery note and your weekend into one long list. When the customer asks for the before photos, or the office needs pictures for the invoice, you end up scrolling.
With a folder per job, the photos are sorted at the moment you take them. Open the job, and everything from that job is there, in order.
Set it up in a minute
- Make a folder named after the job, for example Bakken 12 – Bathroom, and give it a colour.
- Tap the gear on the folder, then Add to home screen.
- On site, tap the job's shortcut and shoot. Photos and video go straight into that job.
The full walkthrough, with screenshots, is on How CamNest works.
What to shoot into the job folder
- Before
- The room, the existing installation and any damage as you found it.
- During
- Work that gets covered up: pipes, wiring, membranes and fixings before the walls, floor or ceiling close.
- After
- The finished job, ready for the customer, the report or the invoice.
- Paperwork
- Delivery notes, labels and measurements on site, or keep a separate Receipts folder for those.
Because everything lands in the same folder, the before, progress and finished photos stay together if questions come up later.
Getting photos to the customer or office
Open the job folder, pick the photos and share them to any app: email, a messaging app or the job system you already use. The photos are also ordinary photos on your phone and show up in your gallery app, so any upload tool that reads your gallery can find them.
Customers’ homes stay on your phone
Jobsite photos often show the inside of someone's home. CamNest has no account, no servers, no ads and no tracking, and it never uploads your photos. They only leave your phone when you share them. See the privacy policy.
What CamNest does not do
To be clear about the limits: CamNest files photos and video into folders on one Android phone. It does not sync to a team, make reports or PDFs, or replace your job management system. There is no iPhone version.
Questions from the trades
Can my whole team share one job folder?
Not inside CamNest. Each phone has its own folders and CamNest has no cloud or team sync. Each person shoots into their own folder for the job and shares the photos where your team already keeps them.
Can I add photos I took with my normal camera to a job?
Yes. Open the job folder and import the photos from your gallery. You can also move photos between folders in batches if something landed in the wrong job.
Does it work on a site with no signal?
Yes. Taking photos and filing them into folders happens on your phone. CamNest has no account and no servers, so there is nothing it needs to connect to. Buying an upgrade goes through Google Play, which needs a connection.
How many job folders can I have?
The free version has 2 folders, which is enough to try it on a job or two. With a folder per job you will most likely want Unlimited (about $3.99, one-time), which gives you as many folders as you need.
